Features of the DÉNIA CARD Tourist Card

WHAT DENIA CARD IS:

It is a personal, free and non-transferable tourist card issued by the Tourist Office of Dénia for:

• tourists staying in any local tourist accommodation.

• tourists staying in private accommodation in Dénia (such as second residence, holiday rentals or properties of relatives or friends).

HOW AND WHERE DÉNIA CARD IS ISSUED:

The Card is only issued by the Tourist Office of Dénia after filling in before a form tourists can get:

-  in the accommodation where tourists are staying (registered tourist accommodation): the form will be sealed there (an stamp of the establishment is required).

-  in the Tourist Office of Dénia: tourists accommodated in Dénia (second residence, holiday rentals or properties of relatives or friends) will be given a form when proving they are not living in this city by showing their ID Card or their check-in card printed in the tourist establishment they are being accommodated (in the event that the form is not available in the registered tourist establishment where accommodated).

ADVANTAGES OF THE CARD:

The tourists are offered added value benefits when staying in Dénia. Therefore tourists get discounts and special offers on attractions, accommodation establishments, leisure, sports, gastronomy, etc. all that free of cost. Tourists are also given an special treatment.

FEATURES AND VALIDITY.

The tourist card includes the name of the holder and the period of stay of the tourist in Dénia.  The minimum period of stay is 2 days with a maximum of 2 months. There are 2 different types of cards: one is issued for adults and other for children and teenagers (up to 17 years old).

CONTENT OF THE INFORMATIVE GUIDE:

Once the Card is issued, the Tourist Department of the City Council of Dénia will deliver to tourists by hand a bilingual informative guide (Spanish and English) describing:

• features of the card, benefits and a list of partners including their logotype, details, opening hours and season, and the offers they have available.
